Prachuap - Visiting The Pier and Monkey Hill
We woke to a very nice early morning view of the sea and nearby islands. We could hear the waves during the night which was nice. The sun was soon rising and looked amazing coming up over the sea. Breakfast was nice, choose your own, with a man cooking eggs various ways for you. Not the extensive choice as Siem Reap but still good. Good coffee from a machine. We also checked out the pool which looks very nice and it has a ladder. What a great idea!
We then headed out for a walk along the sea front and out onto the pier. It was about 25 degrees and there was a nice sea breeze. The street alongside the hotel and sea front was very quiet with hardly any traffic. Two blocks back from the sea we turned along one of the main streets. Lots of street stalls selling veggies and fruit. We went to a supermarket Sarah had found on Google maps. Stocked up on water, snacks, milk, toothpaste, and soap. We were not allowed to buy beer until 11am so had to put the two cans of Chang back. ☹️

The way back to the hotel was via a side street selling mainly fish and squid. Very stinky! Much more traffic in this area but still less busy than other places we have been. I didn't notice any particular places to eat tonight so we may need to ask Mr Google.
